Sorry to hear about Ab. I remember Ab and Ruth from my Radville days. Ab worked as trainman and my Dad 'Happy' Kading was an engineer. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Many years ago I worked on the CNR as a Brakeman and Conductor and had the pleasure of working with Mr. Bennett as a young fellow just learning the role. Barry also started on the CNR at close to the same time that I did but I don't believe I've heard anything of him since the mid 70s. My father, Earl Fletcher, was an Engineer on the CNR for many years so our family has been a railroad family like yours for all of our lives. Earl is going to be 90 years old this year and is still doing OK but unfortunately even old railroaders eventually reach the end of the line. My memory of Mr. Bennett was that he was a classy guy who was always very conscious of doing his job to the best of his abilities.

Dear Aunt Ruth and family,
I think of the times mom and dad (Vi and Edgar) took us to Regina when we were children. They seem so very long ago...visits to you and the Bennett side of the family. My sincere sympathy goes out to you.
