We are sending our deepest sympathy to the Daum family from the Peter Cherneski family of Goodeve,
Sk. Our dad purchased the Phillip Daum farm and lived there until his passing.

We are very sorry for your loss. Al was a great man and was very kind to me and our family. We will always remember him fondly and how he went out of his way to help people and to make sure that things were done right, no exceptions. We wish you all the best through this difficult time.

I am so very sad for your loss.
Your Dad was very important to me in that he helped me remember MY dad . His stories of the 2 of them and the crazy things they did gave me a whole new appreciation for the two of them...
Just last year he created a memory book for me , loaded with pictures of them as early as the war. Through the years in Regina / Kelowna and Vancouver. It was amazing! Please reach out to me as I would love to talk to you again (John).
So sorry.

My name is Betty Sveinson. I am the 4th daughter of Martha Ullrich, (sister of Al). It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our Uncle Al. I had the opportunity to speak with Uncle Al on the phone about the Daum Family Remembrance Project that he was working on a while back. It took a lot of time and effort on his part to gather the information. He was very excited and proud to be doing this for the family, and we truly appreciated it. We had an enjoyable discussion reminiscing about the times that he spent with our family over the years.
Our condolences go out to your family. I am sure he will be missed as the patriarch of your family.

With deepest sympathy
Betty Sveinson

I was pleased to have been able to visit with Mr Daum just before Christmas. He was a delightful, honest, well spoken gentleman. He spoke, very sweetly, about how much he loved his family. I'm so sorry for your loss
