CHERWINSKI, Christopher Gerald
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the age of 64 years. He was born in Wynyard, SK on November 27, 1947. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Pearl Cherwinski (nee Smitznuik); brothers Raymond and Edward Cherwinski; father and mother in- law Nicholas and Marie Martin (nee Menzel); brother-in-law Edward Binsfeld; and nephew Jason Stein. Christopher will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda Cherwinski (nee Martin); daughters Nancy Mayer (Stephen) and Candace Mayer (Matthew); four grandchildren Andrew Cherwinski (Kayla), Jasmine Cherwinski, Nicholas Cherwinski and Olivia Mayer; two great grandchildren Nolan Cherwinski and Brennen Cherwinski; brothers Tom Cherwinski (Helen) and John Chapman (Doreen); sisters Shirley Zawerucha (Eugene) and Gloria Bartel (Tom); and many nieces and nephews. Thank you to Dr. Sandra Rayson, Dr. Tai and staff at Allan Blair Cancer Center and to Dr. Johnson and Dr. Kilmuray and all staff at Regina Palliative Care. A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, 5020 7th Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Donations in memory of Chris may be made to Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 7T1 or Regina Palliative Care Inc., 4F - 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
