My dearest Karen, Nicole and Nolan,

I am so terribly sorry. My heart broke reading about David. I wish I was there to comfort you in some way. I want you to know that I love and adore you, and if you ever want to talk or go for chicken wings, I will fly to Edmonton.

Linda

Nikki, Nolan & Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you are able to remember your happiest memories when life seems most difficult. I am sending love and thoughts your way and wish there was more I could do.

Saddened to hear the loss of Dave, lots of laughs shared at work, car pooling together, as well as curling for quite a few years together in the Hotelman's League and Men's League at the Regina Club, condolences to Karen and the kids.

I am so sorry to hear of David's loss. I know that words cannot do justice in describing the impact that this has on his family and all of those close to him. Karen, it is with great sadness that I ask you to please accept my deepest condolences. I will miss David's always-positive attitude and his unquestioning willingness to help ... every single day.

Hi Karen; .....so sadden to hear of David's passing, what a great person to know and have shared laughs with and there were many. Still have the great pics of us at the northern SK fishing trip sometime back and always remembering his laugh and smiling face that always went with it. Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. He will be missed dearly. Larry Lenton

The people you want to be around in life are those that are happy, optimistic and kind. Dave was certainly all that and more. Since learning of Dave's passing, I have been reflecting on all the great times we enjoyed at work, from social activities we would organize together for PFRA staff, to baseball and curling and working together, both in Regina and later in Alberta. Dave was always a pleasure to be around. His quick laugh and easygoing nature were most welcome and endearing to all of us who knew him. I hope, Karen, that you and Nolan and Nicole can take comfort in knowing that Dave was just an awesome guy, who will be missed dearly by the many, many good friends he leaves behind. Dave could make you smile any time of day, any day of the week. For some time he worked for one of the finest organizations in the annals of the Federal Government. Whichever team he worked with, his contributions were integral to the success of the project. Sincerest condolences to you Karen and your family.

Many days later, it's still hard to fathom why David was called to be somewhere else when he was still needed here. He was a beacon for all those who needed proof that the qualities of wisdom, kindness, laughter, insight, intelligence, and selflessness could be combined in a single individual. Our intersection was in the world of music where David took particular joy in searching out fresh sounds and sharing his discoveries with his friends at CKUA. We are forever grateful that David chose to spend some of his valuable time with us. Peace and condolences to his family, friends, and all who are hurting with the hard reality of his silence.

Karen, Nicole and Nolan:
Our condolences to you and the rest of the family during these difficult times. We are all saddened by David's passing; he has touched so many people and was always a pleasure to be around. His passion for giving to the community has taught all of us that many hands make the job easier and that having some fun along the way makes it all worthwhile. David's integrity, sense of humor and warm, caring nature made all of our lives richer.
