Dear Lorraine, shocked and so very sorry to hear of Don's passing and just days after Bob. We'll never know why these two fun loving characters were taken from us too soon. My thoughts are also with you.
December-12-17
Our sympathies to lorraine and the hill family. A great loss but left behind many cherished memories. We will miss seeing him in Waskesiu where we always seemed to find each other for a short visit when you there

Lorraine and family.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family with the sudden passing of Don. We have known Don since the seventies when I started curling at the Tartan Club. I even teamed up with Don for a number of years when we won the Sask Open Bonspiel and went to the southern play downs; some of my favorite curling times. I recall a few parties we had with Don and I think I may even had to dance with him on occasion. We are so glad we got together 2 years ago when we were back in Canada visiting and typical of Don the laughter and drinks were plentiful. We truly will miss the man with the big heart and the ugly throwing broom he always used when delivering a rock. May he rest in peace.

We were so fortunate to live next door to Don and Lorraine for 13 years on Rodenbush and call Don a friend. So many stories and memories come to mind as I reflect on Hiller. Lorraine and family, our deepest condolences to you all. We will deeply miss Donnie and his positive outlook, his laugh and his jokes.
