I did not know Fern was sick so this caught me completely off guard. Only the good die young and this is definitely true with Fern.I knew her from working at Advance and she was always so kind with a beautiful smile.I remember when she really wanted tickets for the Paul McCartney concert at Taylor Field. I just so happened to have 4 tickets and told her I would sell them to her for what I paid and she was thrilled.I am so happy that she got to see the concert because she said it was an awesome concert and she had a great time. I'm glad she did. Even though I only knew her for a handful of years, we became friends and I missed our conversations after she retired. Fern was always so easy to talk to and she was usually giggling or chuckling about something. She had such happy eyes. I will miss her friendship and hope to see her again one day. My condolences to the family and friends of Fern. God Bless Fern O:-)
