My thoughts are with the Baker Family in their time of need.
Rose and family, I am sorry that I missed the funeral as I was traveling. Norm was always great to me as a little kid and that never changed over the years!
Uncle Norm gave me my start in the electrical trade when I was just 15, for which I was forever greatful. Having had the opportunity to work in Saskatchewan recently I ran in to some of the old timers in the industry who remembered Uncle Norm fondly, saying he was a good employer who always treated his workers fairly.
Rest in Peace Uncle Norm.
To Neil and Darrell,
I just want you know how nice it was for me to have met your Dad and to have been one of his caregivers. He was always so thankful and appreciative of anything done for him. He was truly a gracious man, a true gentleman and will be missed very much. My thoughts are with Rose and I wish her peace and love in the coming weeks.
Our thoughts are with Rose and the Baker family at this time. Norm was a knowledgeable man with amazing stories of his life & family.
To all the Bakers,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Norm was a very sweet man who will be missed by all.
I was most saddened to learn of your Dad's passing.
Norm was just a great guy, who took the took the time
and "made" the time to inquire how you're doing in life!
As a 'mentor' he challenged you...as a 'leader," he had
been there before...and, as a 'friend' he sincerely wanted
the 'best' to come your way, along your path in life. There
was little 'gray' in Norm's life, and, I welcomed the visits by
Rose & Norm to Univ. of Alberta when we lived at "Newton
Place"...his camaraderie, generosity and views were inspiring. He not only spoke on issues in life - Norm lived it! As I reflect back to 1971 - Edmonton...were not those 'just the best' years! Our thoughts are with you, Neil and Rose as we celebrate Norm's life tomorrow. Sincerely,
Patrick Murphy - Paradise Valley, Arizona.
Dear Rose and family,
