Dear Barb and Susan,
What a lovely afternoon it was today, when we were invited to come and remember your father's life. This event will always remind me of your fathers zest for life, his fun, love and laughter. You were so fortunate to have someone so wonderful as your father. What wonderful memories you will have. Thank you for the lovely afternoon when we could meet your Mom and your friends. So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. It's been a long time since the Katepwa days when "Big Dog" used to get all of us kids together for games and fun. Sincere sympathies to Cay, Barbara and Susan from Tom Mullin

Hi Cay,
You and Bob were great friends of my Mom and Dad, Fred and Ag McNeill. Of course I got to know him through his visits to the house. He was a great guy. So tall and good looking with a wonderful laugh. I was sorry to read of his passing. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I was a rookie on the road when Bob and I met at the La Salle and I had flapper pie and Bob had a milk shake. Bob told me that old salesmen don't die they run out of commission, although we haven't seen him in years we still have fond thoughts of our many meetings thru life. A great man. Dear Mrs. Searle, Barb and Susan,
My heart goes out to you all at this time. I can't imagine a world without Mr. Searle and his infectious laugh and mischievous spirit. I have many childhood memories of him from the beach and of late from our visits to Victoria. I am so grateful to have known him all of these years and am also grateful that he generously was our little Zaylynn's surrogate great grandfather! Love to you all.
