We were so sorry to hear of Lois' passing. We will always cherish our memories of time spent at her and Dad's place.

I'm so saddened to hear of Lois's passing. I've always considered Lois a grandmother and miss the visits I had with her and my grandad, Kelly. I think of her often and will remember her fondly. My deepest condolences to the Dombowsky family.

Dear Grandma

You're always on my mind. Our last visit, the visits before, your stories. Coffee stops at your house, talking about our day, weeks or years. I've always admired you. Looked up to you. When I was with you I truly felt loved. You're going to be heavily missed by myself and many others. I'll cherish every hug, every visit and our last moments together holding hands. Love you grandma and miss you very much. I will find comfort in knowing you are free and someday we will see each other again. Forever grateful to have had you in my life.

Lois was a very special person and she brought much joy to my dad (Kelly Nelson). She welcomed all of us as part of her family and we will always be grateful for her kindness, compassion and sense of family. May she Rest In Peace.

From the very first moment I met her, Lois welcomed me and never made me feel like I was anything other than a member of her family. I am deeply grateful to her for that. I will always cherish my memories of sitting with her by her front window, during short, cold winter days, watching the birds at her feeder and talking, sometimes for hours, about all manner of things. I am very grateful to have known her. To her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, I am so sorry for your loss, I know how sorely she will be missed.

I miss you grandma. I miss your smile. I miss your laugh. I miss chatting with you after working in the yard. I miss Christmas at your house. You're in a better place now grandma and these memories I will cherish forever. I love you grandma.

Lois was a wonderful woman: brave and funny; generous and kind. She always made me feel like part of the family -- a good heartedness that made for some of the best Christmases in my life. Lois's thoughtful letters when my own mother was diagnosed with cancer established a tradition that I try to live up to to this day.
Thank you, Lois, for your grace and your warmth.
I miss you. I won't ever forget you.
