Wow mom! It has been nearly a year since you left to meet your Maker. Not a day goes by when we all don't think of you. The candle still burns bright and every day, and as I pass the 'Mom Memorial Room' that Ashley set up in your honour, I am reminded of how short life is. We are all so very thankful for all the years we had with you, but regretful of all the times we didn't get to share. There have been times when I could have sworn I saw you walking in the mall or waiting at the bus stop .... but I guess, only you would know if you shared your Spirit that day. I named a star after you mom for all the things your life put you through. It's the one above all the rest, it's the one I can see the best! See you on the 3rd Mom! We LOVE you, THINK of you often, and WISH you were still here! Darryl, Dwight, Lindsey, Brandon, Ashley and myself wish you Peace!

Mom, thank you for everything you did to make me the person I am.
You taught me to love and to have compassion for others.
You taught me to share what I have, even in times when I had nothing.
You taught me to have patience by living it as an example.
You had a ton of patience while raising your very own 'rebellious first born'(me).
I know you felt what all parents felt, 'kids grow up so fast' and even though you did your best, I just couldn't do it!
I learned it was more fun to be the way I am now and you accepted that, so tolerant! ( not like you had a choice)
I still tell the story of how I called down to the cashier when I seen you going through the checkout at Superstore and without telling her who you actually were,.
I told her you were a shoplifter and to tell you that you that you better take the batteries out of your purse!
That poor cashier did what I told her and said that to you. You knew right away it was me pulling one of my pranks as I overheard you on the phone, say to the cashier "Is that Pat? That's my son!"
Both you and the cashier looked up towards me in my office and there I was looking down at you, shaking your fist up at me, while smiling and saying "you're gonna get it!" and the cashier telling me what a mean son I was and me with sore cheeks laughing my butt off!!!
I love you Mom and look forward to the day when we can meet again in Heaven. I'll be the guy taping 'kick me' signs on the Angels and you'll be the one telling me to 'stop it' and apologizing to them, chuckling and saying that you have other kids who turned out just fine! God Bless you Mom and make sure you save a clean table for me! I love you. Pat and Donna

MOM - Saying good-bye has not been easy. The endless supply of tears are there because of your love. Don't worry about Dad - we will watch out for him, and teach him what he needs to learn. I will leave a light on for you, should you need to find your way. I love you and I miss you already.
