Mike, David, Tom, and Nancy,

My sincere condolences in being advised of the passing of Roy. I called Mike in December and he did pass the phone to Roy, and it was encouraging to hear a few words of wisdom from Roy one more time.

I have very fond memories of golfing with Roy in both Fort Qu'Appelle and Arizona. No one had to make more adjustments due to past injuries than Roy. Yet, when Mike and I were spraying the balls all over the course, Roy would hit a straight shot every time. A very great athlete who stayed within himself.'

I also have lots of fond memories of great conversations with Roy while looking out over Katepwa Lake during the day, or over campfires in the evening.

While Roy's health deteriorated over the last couple of years, he still made it outside for a visit and remained a great conversationalist until the end. I will miss the stories of the 1951 Grey Cup, while my wife Jennifer will miss Roy singing the Roughrider fight song from the 1940s.

We hope to be in the valley to attend the celebration of Roy's life in the summer of 2018.

So sorry to hear of Roy's passing, he was so charismatic and quickly became one of my favorite residents while at Queen Victoria Estates. I will remember him fondly.

Dear Wright Family,
May you find comfort in the many great memories you had with your dad. His appreciation for the outdoors and all things "Katepwa" was unmatched. He will be missed by all who new him.

Sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He was a wonderful man and great friend of the family. He joins a great group of the boys from the Pasqua marsh. I often went to sleep in our cottage to the sounds of laughter, Roy and Jeannie with my grandparents.

Tom, Nancy, David and Mike,
News came of your Dads passing while my mom was visiting on New Years Eve, she misses your mom and dad greatly and felt sorry to have to say goodbye to "Old Lefty" as she said with reminiscent twinkle.
We shared a lot of laughs and memories including me being able to play golf with them at the Lake- of course your dad wearing his cowboy boots :)
All our love and condolences,

Dear Tom, Dave, Nancy and Mike.

We are very sad to hear about the passing on of Roy. We shared a lot of great memories with him both at the lake and Regina as well in Phoenix. I can truly say that he was always very warm and welcoming to my constant visits during the special Katepwa summers. Tom, our skiing in the early mornings were always specially touched by Roy's wisdom, careful oversight and frank narrative of life's lessons. Seeing him again last winter in Regina reconfirmed his warm and truly generous spirit. I will miss him and wish you all the best during this difficult time.

With warmest regards
Ken
