Shirley was my first boss when I moved to Regina in 1981. She was a wonderful boss and a very caring person. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Dear John and Terry;
Your mom and my Aunt Shirl was a very beautiful person. She was a role model for me as a woman with a gentle and tender spirit and yet there was this incredible strength inside. I loved to sit and talk about the books she was reading and the titles she would gladly pass on to me. We read some of the same books so then we got to talk about those in more detail! Oh how she loved to read! I will never forget the holiday, together with Aunt Shirl on the Shwuswap houseboat, that is one of my favourite family holidays. It doesn't matter what age your lose your mom it still hurts, I trust that you are finding comfort in the life that she lived and the memories that you hold of her.

I worked with Shirley at Provincial Library. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Although I have not seen Shirley since 1977, I am sure she will be missed by friends and family. Shirley hired me at the Provincial Library in 1974. She was a wonderful person to work for.
