Stan was a wonderful man. Kind and decent. Not much more needs to be said than that. I was lucky to have, and am better for having, known him.

Sorry to hear of Stan's passing. He was a driving instructor when I was in training and he was my Section N.C.O. When I was I/C Avonlea Detachment. He was a very nice man and a good member.

Dear Bob and Lynn,

So sorry to hear about your dad's passing. After reading his story here - he really sounded like an amazing man who probably had many many adventures in his life - and stories to tell. And as you stated - he is now off to the very best adventure yet! But he will be missed by all he left behind. Our thoughts are with you and your family during these difficult days.

With much love,

Margaret and Darrell
