Dear Del and family..I just heard today about Bill. I am so sorry for your loss. You know how much I love both of you. I have many wonderful memories of time spent with you. We had a lot of laughs at Norma and Cliffs in later years and I loved hearing all the old stories. Earlier years, besides being my teachers, you were my friends and mentors. I was pleased when you asked me to be your children's babysitter. I loved being in your home. On my initiation day, I remember having to pick "Mr. Hancock"up from your house dressed as a sheep. The kids were so scared!!I was so honoured when Bill gave the toast to me at my wedding. He was a wonderful man and will be remembered fondly by so many. My thoughts are with you and yours at this difficult time. Hugs Pat (Ogden) Jones and family xx

Dear Del,
We were very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Our family has fond memories of time spent with you both when in Saskatchewan. You were both very generous with your time and we always would receive a warm welcome whenever we made a quick stop in Fillmore. We will remember Bill's willingness to help out on any given project. His bench built 25 years ago is still in our front entrance and has travelled with us from one city to another. Our thoughts and prayers go to you at this very difficult time. Love Shelley, JF, Anikke, Joelle and Elyse

Del,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. Bill wanted to know and would ask how our boys were doing. He cared about what other people were doing in their lives. We will miss his great smile. Take care, Del.
With sympathy, Bill & Lynn St.Onge

Dear Del...was so pleased to have a short visit with Bill & yourself at the parade on Main Street Fillmore this past summer..I think this is the first time I've ever called him Bill ! He was always Mr. Hancock for so many reasons....

Dear Del, I have been thinking of Bill and you over these past days. Good memories and much laughter. I will always keep the memory of the kindness Bill showed towards me, his patience in teaching me to swing a golf club (no reported injuries), and explaining the finer points of curling. Your strength in keeping Bill going over these many years was remarkable. Grandpa Bill gave all his grandkids many things, including a legacy of the love of sports for no reason other than to have fun. Raising a rum and diet Coke - cheers, Bill. Patricia

Even though we have not stayed in touch over the years I often think of you, Bill and Del, with so much love and thankfulness. You were super friends and super people at a difficult time in my life. I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing. May your memories be full of love, laughs and life moments. Mine are - thanks, in part, to you.

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing - condolences to Del and family. Reading the obituary brought back a lot of memories of times we shared in Minnedosa - both at MCI and in the community. Terry Lumb

Our group of Del's high school girlfriends and their husbands has kept in touch over the years and even though we are all much the same age, Bill always looked the youngest in spite of his health challenges. Our last time together was in November of 2016. We will miss you, Bill.
