My most vivid memory of Bro. McWhirter is him standing in the doorway of the Lighthouse with that great smile. As a small child I remember him being really, really tall. He would look down on me and smile real big. What a wonderful warm loving man. He was a marvelous example of Jesus to so many people. Blessing to the family during this time.

will always remember him as a tall, Godly man. he had a gentle spirit about him. Have many memories of Br. McWhirter when I was a teenager growing up at Full gospel lighthouse.YesHe finished his race.. The battle is over. heaven is his home..
