Richard was always a favorite of mine when he came in to the Country Financial office in Vandalia. We often talked about my daughter Kristyn and his grandson Scott who both graduated from Maryville University in the first Doctorate Class of Physical Therapy. My deepest sympathy to the Murfin family.

In Loving Memory of my friend, Richard Murfin. I am so sorry that Dennis and I will not be able to attend the services in honor and remembrance of Richard. We are in Florida visiting Dennis's Dad, Arthur Young and his wife Janet. I met Richard where I work at Arthur Young Inc. From the first day that I met him, we just connected and became friends. We would talk about farming, his dogs, our families, etc. Sometimes Richard would just stop by and we would talk and I always had to give him a hug goodby! A lot of times Richard would say, " You are so good to me" but really it is the other way around, Richard you were always so good to me! I will miss you so very much! But I look forward to meeting you in Heaven when it's my turn to go home. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful friend and I am so blessed to have had you in my life. Well done thou good and faithful servant! I love you, your ground Angie.
