Thinking of you!

Our love and prayers are with you!!!

There are some people like myself who may not be truly eloquent in speaking of their feelings. However, I have a way of being able to put feelings into the form of a poem. This is for those affected by the tragedy at Newtown, Ct.,

The Thunder of Angels Wings
It cannot be said in words, or shown in feelings, the way a heart feels at the loss
Of someone so dear, taken away in the blink of an eye, or a single heartbeat
The hearing of the words, “they are gone forever”, cannot tell the real true cost
The tears that fall, the emotions brought forth, bring memories that are not lost

We all may sympathize, then realize, that though we think we truly understand
That to support the grieving with our believing, is the way to lend a hand
To pray and say my heart is as one in a realm that is greater than we imagine
Is a step forward to create a link in a chain, a threefold cord not easily broken

For we may all hear the sounds of despair, our own hearts racked in mortal pain
Cannot hope to compare to the sound of a greater one crying on His throne
But wait, in the temple there rings a silence unheard, a tumultuous choir sings
As all of heaven rejoices at the Thunder of 26 new pairs of Angels Wings

It may be until eternity before we meet and greet those new heavenly souls
And there the reasoning, the questioning, maybes and mights will be made clear
Only then will any of us be able to truly silence the thoughts that we must ponder
When we are truly able to rejoice and listen to the sound of the Thunder of Angels Wings

May the departed rest in blissful peace. By James Hunter Jr. (jim.hunterjr@yahoo.com)

My heart is broken and we will remember these children and hero teachers the rest of our lives. They are our guardian angels now.
