WOW - I just received the news today (June 11, 2013)of G-man passing. I had sent him an email Friday (June 7, 2013) and it was returned undeliverable, however, I thought he had moved to a new job or a new location. Hearing the news of his passing was truly a shock. G-man and I was stationed in Belgium and he was one of my best friends when we were there. To the family, even though he is not here with us, he will always remain in our hearts and we will always cherish his memories. G-man I miss you, keep smiling.

To the family, LaSharme, coworkers, and friends, God has each of you in his hand. He's there to hold you during this difficult time. Stay strong and be of good courage for God cares for you. We will take all the memories of Lloyd to be our sunshine after rain; it's truly hard to say Goodbye to yesterday. We will not say Goodbye Lloyd; we will all meet again glorifying our Heavenly Father.
I will always cherish my fondest memories of Lloyd. Lloyd was a very confident, joyful, and most of all comical young man. I recall our first 2010 Talent Show as he was our DJ that year of our Organization day. He and I were debating over the song I was going to perform. The song we debated about was “Stand” by Donnie McClurkin, we both laughed about it because he felt that was the wrong song. Many people who knew Mr. Lloyd knew he was one to speak his mind always in tactful manner. Another time I recall Lloyd wandering through halls as he was lost looking for his “Wife “LaSharme” in which he spoke of her with such empowerment and how proud he was when he said my “Wife”. Last, but not least, at our 2011 Christmas Ball Lloyd had to critique my singing again regarding one word I mispronounced in singing the National Anthem (“Ramparts” in which I sang “Ramperts” (smile).) Thanks Lloyd for critiquing me because I am forever conscientious of the correct pronunciation of the National Anthem lyrics. Everyone at HRC Fort Knox, Kentucky is and will miss Mr. Lloyd Gibert for he has touched many lives at HRC. I salute you my brother for your time you've served as an Army Soldier, as well as, a Civilian at HRC (R.I.P).
