As a San Francisco resident, seeing the two of you come walking down the street was like seeing a shooting star... unexpected, dazzling, and gone too soon. Rest in peace, Vivian. You were more important and loved than you ever imagined you could be... by the people of San Francisco and the world. Miss Marian, our hearts hurt along with yours. Find strength in knowing how loved you are.

A fond memory of SF for this New Englander. Both twins spread love and joy with those broad smiles. A loss for all. Condolences

I remember seeing the twins in San Francisco when I was 25 years old outside of Church Street Station. They looked like they belonged at Union Square. Lovely ladies . My condolences
to the family.

Marian,
I and my niece (who is also an identical twin) ran into you and your lovely sister Vivian in front of the St. Francis Hotel a little over a year ago. You had such kind words for my niece and told her to always take good care of her sister. Thanks to both of you for always exemplifying kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity of spirit. San Francisco lost a dear lady in Vivian, but please know that the rest of us in town are your family too. Thanks so much for the joy you and Vivian brought to us all these years.

God bless both of the twins. My wife and I saw them for the first time a year ago on a trip from our home in Portland Maine. They represented the best of San Francisco with a quiet dignity.

Mariam, my prayers and thoughts are for you. You and Vivian made me smile each time I saw you together. We've exchanged many waives and smiles over the years. You are both in my heart. San Francisco lost half of a very precious treasure. I hope you'll be surrounded by love from everyone in the City by the Bay.
