I am honored to have known Joe as one of my very best frinds. I still grieve at his passing.

Dear Augusta,
Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Joe was always an uplifting man of character and strength. We will miss his cheery ways, his patriotism, his participation in Dublin's Memorial Day parade and his kindness.

He was Army - graduated from West Point on D-Day 1944, but I am confident that when he reported for eternal duty at the gates of Heaven, the United States Marines all turned out to welcome him aboard.

Dear Augusta, Robin and I were so sad to learn of Joe's passing. We will never forget his plasure and enthusiasm at being able to open Knollwood for our Raylynmor Opera events. Together, you were a generous and an inspiring coupl, who contributed much to the quality of life in the Monadnock Region. Bless you and bless Joe's memory.

Dear Augusta,
I was saddened to learn of your husband's passing. I so enjoyed chopping wood with him, cousin David Cheney and cousin Tad Dwyer one fall day 25 years ago. Thank you for sharing him and your cancer story with me. You were then, and continue to be, a ray of hope for all women who continue to battle that dreadful disease. Thank you for showing me that it was possible to survive and thrive after my diagnosis. My heart and prayers go out to you and all those who loved Joe.

Very sorry to hear of Joseph's passing. He was the quintessential gentleman and one of the nicest people I've had the privilege to know. I will fondly remember the summer luncheons in Dublin.
