We've lost a legend,a hero and a great man who proudly served his country. He has my respect and my thanks for a job well done. Even though he is one of many hero's of WWII and he was unique for many reasons and had many firsts as a pilot. He broke the color barrier,he was the first black ace.Colonel Archer you have completed a full life of accomplishments and again I say thank you for it.
To his family all I can say is that I grieve with you at this time.To all the Tuskegee airman you will always have my respect and my thanks. You will never be forgotten.
