My condolences to the Musial family. Lillian's father, Sam, was my dad's great uncle; so we are distant kin. My dad and I had the great opportunity of visiting with Stan and Lil on our way back from Pa to Texas in 1963. She was such a beautiful lady. My thoughts and prayers with you...God Bless Stan.

I was a kid growing up in Georgia in the 40's and 50's and idolized Stan Musial, listening to radio broadcasts over KMOX. His wife, Lillian, was a treasure, also. May God Bless STAN THE MAN.

My condolences to Stan and his family. I grew up in Donora in the forties and fifties and idolized Stan. I knew Lil well since, when I was a kid, I would shop at Labash's grocery store and only allow Lil to wait on me because I knew she was Stan's wife. I used to tell people that they named their first child, Dickie, after me. For everyone in Donora, Stan and Lil were the love story of the times.
