Mildred N. Whitman, age 88 of Washington, IA, died quietly on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Lake Darling Youth Center. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorials have been established to the Midwest Bible Camp. Online condolences may be sent at www.jonesfh.com

She is survived by daughters Doloris James and husband Hal of Washington, IA and Ellen Lucas and husband John of Indianola, IA; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and brother Frank Burgess of Topeka, KS.
