Eric was the smartest attorney I've ever met. He truly must have slept with a copy of the Constitution and the Bankruptcy Code under his pillow. I referred to Eric secretly as Encyclopedia Eric or Professor Moser.

More importantly, however, he was one the kindest, most charitable human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I remember that he used to carry a canvas wallet with a velcro on it (the kind many of us had in grade school) even though he was a large law partner. When I mentioned it to him, I think he thought I was poking fun, but I sincerely respected him for this because it perfectly displayed his character and what he valued most in life. He was so generous with other people (both time and money) and wasn't caught up in things that don't last or things that don't really matter at the end of the day. I remember just how much he loved his family and how much joy he brought to the people around him. Eric will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort during these difficult times. The Bible tells in 2 Thessalonians 2:16 that God loves us and gives us "everlasting comfort." From this, we know that God will provide comfort for you. May your memories give you peace and comfort
