Robert DeStefano Obituary
Robert J. DeStefano of Peekskill, NY passed away on May 14, 2013. He was 60 years old. Robert was born on February 25, 1953 in Yonkers, NY to Nicholas R. and Lois J. Page DeStefano. He attended and graduated from Saunders High School in Yonkers. Robert worked for Metro North, Croton-Harmon as an Electrician for forty years. He is survived by his sister Judy Grady of Peekskill and two nieces Kelly and Courtney. Visitation is today, Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, 10am at St. Columbanus Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

I may have been one of the very first guys Bobby worked with on the railroad. We spent much of my 34 years working together or spending union time , partying. Had him to my house, met my wife and kids. Honey's, Izzy's union clambakes. gave him tips on the d.d. Yeah right! Great guy. Great friend. Will miss him.

Saddened to hear that Bobby passed on. We bowled and played a lot of ball growing up. He was quite the character. My condolences.
