Even thought we only met briefly, at the 67TH Enginer's reunion last year, in Richmond, VA;...... immediately 'we clicked". As soon as we met, and you told me you served with the 25TH Infantry, and I responded I had served with the 1st Infantry........WE CLICKED. Only partial sentences had to be spoken......WE both understood. YOU are the only person I'd met in the last 40+ years ' that really communicated' about our service. I will always love and respect you. ....To your family.....My deepest heart felt sorrow.....for not being able to see you thru 'your golden years'........The 'bond we have', will never be broken. Your picture will go up on my 'wall of fame'; to be honored every day; as I will miss you....I'm sure your family loves you.....I sure hope they really appreciate;..... and will not forget your sacrifice 'your call to duty in Vietnam'. Rest in peace brother.
