I was lilly's milkman for many many years. She had the coldest refrigerator in westchester county. Lilly always had a great story to tell every time I went in the store. We all miss you Lilly, god bless you. Bill Logan

Hawthorne would not be Hawthorne without Winzig's Deli and what made it was the family. Fond childhood memories of Winzig's and Danny and Benny's soda shop. I was lucky enough to visit with Lilly in the deli before moving to North Carolina six years ago. I treasure those moments with this very special lady. Lilly left a legacy in all our hearts. RIP and God Bless!

Remembered Winzigs deli since I was 8 or 9. I Remember the B&G Pickle can and they were 5 cents...Everyone called her "Lil" but I always called her Ms. Winzig even till the last days I went in there and i'm now 54. A great person ! Rest in Peace...

We miss you Lilly, my prayers were answered when I asked God to bring someone wonderful in my life when I needed a good, kind friend the most. I shared over 30 years with you almost everyday. Thank You God for the opportunity to have Lilly on my route. May you now enjoy Mitzi and Poppa, and your brothers and sister. Let the music and dancing begin again.

Some of my fondest childhood memories revolve around our trips to Hawthorne to visit my mother's family and our visits with Lilly at the deli. She was the loveliest woman who told great stories and always remembered my brothers and I, despite only seeing us once or twice a year. We loved to walk down to her store for a roast beef wedge and a story. And she was a wonderful friend to my uncle, Ken Marschke, who used to help her at the store after he retired from the post office. She was a class act and a lot of fun and will be missed.

May the Lord bless you and may You rest in peace. I believe everyone in Hawthorne has great memories of You, your Mom, and the Deli. My brother and sisters and I will certainly miss You.

Dear Lilly,
We were away this week and were so sorry to hear of your passing. We will miss you so much. You were such a lovely lady,so caring and so much fun to talk with. No words can describe how much you will be missed but you are with the angels and are at peace now. We love you dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
