Louis Bonomini Obituary
Louis Peter Bonomini, 85, a 20 year resident of Somers, NY, died at home on October 9th. He was born in NYC on April 27, 1929 to Charles and Domenica. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy in NYC and received his BS degree from Manhattan College. Louis was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a Civil Engineer for DeFoe Corp in Mt. Vernon, NY for many years and a volunteer of the American Red Cross, VFW Post #8213 and the St Patrick's Parish Seniors.
Louis is survived by his beloved wife: Helen, his loving daughters: Joan Partelow and her husband, David of Brewster and Laura Lang and her husband Peter of Burlington, VT. and his devoted grandchildren: D.J. and Dean Partelow and Callista and John Lang.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday, October 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 14th at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's RC Church, 137 Moseman Road, Yorktown Heights 10598. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
Louis was an inspiration to all who knew him for his kindness, always lending a helping hand to those in need. Contributions in his memory may be made to The American Red Cross www.redcross.org. Arrangements by:

Our deepest condolences to Helen, Joan, Laura and the entire Bonomini Family. Lou was a true gentleman! I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with Lou, an admired, respected professional. I will miss him!

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me".
