I was a close friend and roomate of Bob's at Emory and Henry College in Virginia. A more loyal friend you could not have. I have fond memories of spending one Thanksgiving at his grandmother's in Pelham. I just learned of Bob's passing away and feel saddened by the news . I never had the pleasure of meeting Rosemary and am sure they had a very close, loving relationship. I extend to her and all the family and friends my sincere condolences. Bob had a strong commitment to his faith. I remember the many times we hitch-hiked 25 miles to be able to attend mass. He definitely was an inspiration to all who knew him.

RIP, Coach and my deepest condolences to your wife and family, both near and far. I know your later years were tough, and only those men with the strength, dignity and character could stand tall in facing. So it was with you. Thank you for the years of guidance you gave to so many student/athletes at MVHS. The word is that kickoff times in Paradise are at noon. I can see you and hear you now on the sidelines coaching. God Bless you, Coach.

RIP Coach. Was a long, tough row to hoe, that only a few special men could do with dignity, strength and character, three things and more, that were always a part of you. With love and thanks for all that you did for so many student/athletes at MVHS through the years. Go with God now, Coach. The games in Paradise kick off at noon sharp. I can see and hear you on the sidelines now ! Sincere condolences to the Brooke Family, near and far.
