November 10, 2014 Dearest Sam,
This weekend you will have been in heaven two years! It seems like just yesterday that you left us! The hurt is still intense for me! There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you and our wonderful life together! Pictures bring back beautiful memories of our life together! I had it all until the day that you left!
People say that some day we will be together again!

CANDLE June 15, 2014 Happy Fathers Day, Pops. It's certainly bittersweet today without you here...
I'm at a Father/Son basketball camp with Daniel, and I've smiled a number of times as I envisioned how much you would have enjoyed being here doing something like this with me...& how many of these same lessons you taught me out in the street or in our driveway. You taught me so many lessons, on and off the court, and they live on today with me and my own family.
