Destiny over which we have no control, we are born and we die. What happens in between is strange and unpredictable, beyond our control. Susan and I had a most unusual kind of friendship. I was 30+ years older then Sue, but did that matter, no it did not. We had special times together where we shared parts of each others life. They were private times and a blending of a soul and a heart, very special to both of us. They were our times especially when she came over to the point at Big Sandy in her kayak. They were our own private times for sharing our lives. The blending of the soul and heart were as wonderful as the pancakes on Sunday morning. Susan is gone on a new venture. Gone to a place known to God alone. Even though we did not share many times the past few years, I missed you and I will miss you more now. No one will ever remove the place in my heart that has been reserved for Susan, she will be a part of me as long as I live. Susan was one of my dearest friends and will be missed during my life time. Her destiny is complete. Paul Sr and Paul Jr my heart is with you as you go through the period of grieving. The two of you have been a wonderful part of my life. When you feel lonely or depressed, a phone call between us would ease both our pain. I will miss you Paul as I used to be your captive audience as you all water skied across Big sandy. It ended my day on a high note. Farewell Susan, I shed tears of joy and sadness as I end this note. Dotti
