Anne Dalrymple
AGE: 89 • Yonkers, NY
Anne Dalrymple (nee Milano) of Yonkers, passed away on September 17, 2017. She was 89 years old. Anne was a loving sibling to her late sisters, Sally and Angela, her late brother Frank and her younger brother Peter (Christine), of Bedford, New York. Devoted wife of the late John (Jack) Dalrymple, she lived in Florida for 25 years before coming back home to New York.
Anne spent her working years at the Yonkers Board of Education, where she made lifelong friends. Fun, light-hearted, and a bit irreverent, "Annie" was adored by her nine nieces and nephews, who loved playing games and sharing their secrets with her. Family was everything to Anne, and she was particularly close to her cousins, Terry Troiano (nee Cacciatore) and Dolores Fantacone (nee Cacciatore) and the Chiasciones, the late Marie and twins Anne Talone and Regina Ciriello, who were a constant presence in her life during the final years. Anne also enjoyed warm relationships with her husband's sons, Jack Dalrymple (Sally), David Dalrymple (Pauline) and their extended families.
Anne will be greatly missed for her kindness, graciousness, good nature, easy laugh, and devotion to her family and friends. Her ability to see only the good in people has been an inspiration to anyone fortunate enough to have known her.
