Lou.... I think of you and Mardi often. Remembering all your optimism and strength after you had the stroke and when Mardi was injured. Your love for Basketball and the kids. Making sure your talent would transcend to all who care to listen. Thanks for the friendship......RIP. Lauren Weichsel Finn

When I hear Barry White singing I think of Lou. I don't know much about basketball but Lou and I shared a common love of Jazz and Blues. After eloping with my husband in 1992 we didn't have a place to have a wedding party and Lou and his wife Mardi said "We Love Parties" so we had our wedding party at his house. Lots of people speak about Lou's basketball accomplishments but he was also an amazing gardener, loved music, and he was very passionate about his Youth Basketball League in Park City which my son participated in. It was an amazing program.

My sincere condolences to Mardi, Adriane and family for your loss. May your happy memories of Lou bring you peace.

Much love,

Donna Allen

I met Louis when we were 8 years old, playing little league baseball against each other and we competed together, in all sports from that time on until High School Graduation. Our sympathies and prayers go out to you, his family in this time of your great loss and may you find peace in the promises of Jesus Christ. R I P Louis Hudson- He was a good teammate, classmate, person !!!

It was a pleasure meeting Brother Hudson back in 2007, indeed a man with a big heart. A loyal servant has returned home.

I was in the tenth grade at Dudley High School while Sweet Lou played basketball there. He was an exciting player to watch and should have been in the NBA Hall of Fame many years ago. Rest well Lou and I will miss you.
