CUMMINGS, BILLY W., 55, of Louisville, passed away Monday, June 15, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Cummings was retired from the United States Army as a CW 4 Blackhawk Pilot and a member of the 101st Airborne Division and from the United States Postal Service and a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Cummings; and grandparents, Winniford and Annie Sanders.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Amber Browning and Amanda Cummings; mother, Mary Cummings; brothers, David, Jerry, Michael Cummings; sisters, Brenda Smith and Kathy Cummings; grandson, Braxton Roeder.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and after 12 p.m. on Friday until service time.

Remembering you as the anniversary draws near, 7 years. I had a Dream recently that you and I went to dinner, and I woke up with tears on my face. It was such a blessing! I miss you today, tomorrow, and forever. Love, your bambino.

Bill was a good friend that I had not seen in years. I always looked up to him because he was a talented person. I was amazed he flew Black Hawk helicopters. He was funny and caring. He will be missed.
