I met Charlie back in the seventies looking to get my first Tat. Over the next 30 years we had a lot of good times some I promised Charlie never to reveal. I remember him among many things as a great cook, one hell of a riding partner, and one of the best Tattoo artists that ever lived.He will remain with me always as one of my true and closest friends. RIDE FREE MY BROTHER.{Remember one will make you lopsided}

My condolences to Charlie's family and close frends. Although I didn't know Charlie well at all, I had the pleasure of meeting him once and having work done by the man himself at his Berry Blvd Studio back in 1989. It was to be with a woman's name and he asked, "are you sure?" to which I replied yes. With that he asked where, I told him, He then grabbed my arm, pushed me back into the chair and proceeded to apply the most beautiful work of art I have ever had... R.I.P. and RIDE FREE MY FRIEND...
