My heart is filled with wonderful memories and fun filled days. My Mother & Dad made everyday exciting, hardly a dull moment growing up. They both worked hard with the business and we played hard with Grandma watching over us. One favorite memory is the tree house that Dad made which is still in the back yard of the house we grew up in. The fun with all the Rayhill's, Fluhr's Ferguson's, Bracey's, Rigg's, C. Otto, W. Deer, G. Jone's and the Snider's. (Oh if the trees in the woods could talk) The horse back riding, the winter sleigh riding with bon fires, all the action packed weekend's and summers at Lake Cumberland. I'll call those friends our Lake Families. (Dad was called Dock Strutter). Dr. Hodge and family. The Schlatter's, the McDonnald's, the Sloan's and the Bolen's If I left anyone out I'm so sorry. What great times and parent's we all had. What I wouldnt give for another day on Arnoldtown Road or a week at the lake, those days never got old. I'm so thankful for such great times and good life long friends. We may not see one another often enough but the memories stay forever. No one can ever take that away. I think my Mother and all us kids had the best part of Dad.
