Growing up in the late '50s & '60s as a 'rock 'n roller' Wolverton Mountain nonetheless was a favorite as it crossed over to the Top 40 playlists. Had that song in my mind just the other day, in fact. The lyrics always played out a fascinating visual story to me and I liked the melody, too. Great journey, Claude King. May you rest in eternal peace and be loved and remembered forever.

HE Will Raise You Up On Eagle's Wings,

Bear You On The Breath Of Dawn,

Make You To Shine Like The Sun,

And Hold You In The Palm Of HIS HAND.

The first time I heard that song I was in a military PX store in Germany as an American soldier far from home. That was the most beautiful ballad I have ever heard. It has always been one of my favorites. Thanks Claude for the good memories you have given me and so many others.
