Kap & Erin-
My deepest sympathy to you. Your dad was always wonderful to me over the years. Thanks to David I was able to join Kap's class trip to D.C., where we got "busted" for sliding on the marble. I remeber David getting a kick out of that.(Yes Kap, I still display the picture in my office)
I know there are no words I can offer now to ease your pain. As time heals the emptiness you have now the wonderful memories will fill that void.
Love to you both....

I am one of David's neighbors. I met him after I moved to the Sutherland 2 1/2 years ago. There had been a big storm the night before and he wanted me to know that some of my roof had blown off! He walked around the yard with me, helping to find roof debris and to determine the extent of the damage. He was always friendly and helpful.

I was not aware of his illness or the courageous battle he was fighting. He seemed to be the picture of health, particularly when I saw him biking with the beautiful dogs.

On our last neighborly chat, he mentioned how much he enjoyed having his dad at his house. His face lit up as he described how well he and his dad got along.

For Mr. Klein, I am particularly sad for your losses over the past year.

David was a highly accomplished man with a generous and caring heart. He will be missed in our neighborhood.

To the Klein Family...It is well known that David gave so much of himself to help others each and every day. My friend David gave me the will, encouragement and "fight" to face cancer head on. His "warrior" spirit is now a part of me that will live on forever. I am grateful to have called David my friend.
