Marion Hardin Obituary

HARDIN, MARION, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012.

He was a sergeant in the US Army, World War II, a KY Colonel, and retired from Dupont in 1979, as a special Lab Technician after 32 years of service. Marion was born in Edmonson Co., KY, to Bluford and Addie Johnson Hardin.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Vincent; son, Anthony Hardin; a daughter, Gail Woosley.

His survivors include his wife, Wanda Meredith Minton Hardin; and five step-children; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister.

Funeral ceremony will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 1-7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the KY Colonels or to St. Jude Hospital.
