Dear Karen, Dale, and Sarah,
Our love and condolences to you at this time. Thanks for sharing your dad, Karen, with so many of us. I keep the whistles he carved for the boys in the desk in the kitchen. And I couldn't help but love someone who devoted so much to endangered plants. How many peoples' lives were enriched by his gifts -- who could count?
Love to you. the Spurlocks

We've lost a kind and joyous renaissance man. I will think of him especially every spring when I start his and Miss Emily's tomato that he was generous enough to share with me back in 2001.

Doc was a person we all strive to be. I am fortunate to have walked in his shadow.

I worked with Dr Coy (and Kim) for many years when I was a unit secretary on the 4th floor at Norton Hospital. He was always so sweet and he made me laugh alot. I have thought of him often over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
