Mrs. Crockett, I was a trainee with 1st National in 1980-84 and thought the world of Mr. Crockett -- I remember him as part of Christmas fun at the Mall, as well, for my sons in 80s. So glad you, sons and grandchildren had such a great man!
My prayers go out to the Crockett family... John was a fabulous and very influential man. I took several of his AIB classes... he always remembered your name when he saw you around the bank and always had a smile.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief
Dear dear Doll,
We were so sad to hear of John's passing.
He loved you and his family so much but still had room in his big heart for the Big Blue Nation!
Praying and thinking of you,
Kitty & Ross Morrison Sarasota, FL
I had the pleasure of working for and with John at the First National Bank. I don't think I have ever known a man who could light up a room just by his presence. I never heard him say an unkind word, and his wisdom and support is something I will never forget. John was one of those rare individuals who made the world a better place just by being there. His presence will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to his family on their loss.
My sincere condolences to the Crockett family. Mr. Crockett was a large influence in my life and career and the world is a bit dimmer with his absence. A great banker. An even better man.
I am so sorry to learn of John's passing. He was a great boss, and I enjoyed working with him at First National.
