I had the pleasure of taking care of Linda at Baptist Louisvile. We discussed our love for quilting. Even after surgery, she was trying to run the store (by phone with Chip) and help me figure out a quilt pattern. I wish we could have met earlier under better circumstances, but in the short time we had, we indeed became "fast friends". You are in my prayers. Lisa PACU RN
To the family of Linda,
I hadn't know Linda very long maybe 1 yr., but she treated me so nice. Bought a sewing machine from her. Through all my troubles, she was there to help me get through the problems. She was so kind. Will miss her at the store. Just found about her passing today nov. 8, 2013

I am so sorry for your loss. Linda was an amazing person full of faith, love and strength. Her story is inspirational to all. May God Bless you.
Before she was my boss she was my friend. God must have needed a very special Angel to take her from us so soon. I will miss her sooooo much as I pray for all her friends and family to get through this time of sorrow and I know she would prefer this be a time of celebrating her life rather than sadness.
My heart breaks for the passing of Linda. I was fortunate to be her friend and very grateful for the times we shared together. There are no words to express my sorrow. My deepest sympathy to Chip and Charles. God has gained a beautiful angel.
I am remembering how generous and helpful Linda was during our year of serving the Louisville chapter of the American Sewing Guild together in 2006. Nothing was too hard nor too time-consuming for Linda. She made our community service projects and our ASG chapter more meaningful for everyone involved. The sewing community of Louisville, and beyond, is going to miss Linda tremendously. May God be with your family, Chip and Charles. My husband, Lee, and I are praying for your comfort and peace.
Such a dear, sweet, beautiful lady. Linda made the world a better place. Her smile was wonderful. She will be sorely missed by so many.
Linda will be missed by many but especially by me. I taught classes in her store as often as I could and she was always encouraging and generous to a fault. She always brightened my day.
Linda will certainly be missed in our community.
our heart was broken
without a warning no words spoken
Linda was taken away
someone said you could not stay
empty and lonely is what we are
we lost a precious shining star
our sewing family torn apart
your world began with a promising start
life is unfair
this difficult cross we must bear
strength and courage we will find
our special Linda always in our mind
a place in heaven is where she will sit
looking at that star you lit
in our thoughts forever you will be
never knowing why someone set you free
My deepest sympathy to Charles and Chip, Linda was my mentor, my inspiration, and most of all my friend.
God Bless your family.
Chip and Charles, and Revolution Community. I am so sorry to hear about Linda; she was certainly a beautiful lady and always kind.
