Martha was a sweet lady. Had her as my interpreter at KY Tech and also her sister. Your family are in my prayers.
Martha was so encouraging to me when we worked together years ago at Jeff Tech. I'll miss seeing her at workshops. She will be missed by her many Deaf and hearing friends. I pray the comfort of God's promise and presence will provide her family peace through the days and years to come until we see her again.
Martha was an amazing woman. When she smiled, her eyes smiled! She always had so much to share with others and invested in their lives. There were always things to be learned from her as an interpreter and sweet-spirited woman. My prayers go out to all of you.

Martha was one of the first professional Interpreters I ever met. She had a very practical approach to things, often putting others' needs ahead of her own. What I loved most about Martha is that I can never remember a time she was afraid to speak her mind...her passion and dedication will inspire those of us who knew her for years to come. Praying for strength and comfort for her loved ones...
Martha was one of the most amazing women I have even known. She was a second mother to me for many years and a role model to me and so many others. I strive everyday to be like her. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy goes out to you.

Martha's passing comes as a shock to all of us. Her years of dedication and service at Jefferson Community and Technical College will always be remembered as the embodiment of what Jefferson represented- where all are family.
Her CODA family and the Deaf Community has lost a wonderful advocate and phenomenal interpreter. I know that between her and Gene Waldridge-Heaven will be fully accessible to everyone who enters.
