Spent 8 years of grade school at Holy Trinity with Charlie and he was the life of the party all 8 years...I had been thinking of him a lot lately....He was a wonderful person...I know he is with his maker now.....Dorothy Mooser Wise

So sorry to hear about your dad's death. Our dad, Mike Chandler, and yours worked together for many years @ BCBS and we always loved it when the "grown-ups" would get together. I ran into both your parents about six (?) years ago...actually, I was in a store & heard a man laughing (deja vu) and when I looked up, it was Charlie & Clara Baker! When my sister & brothers & I were talking earlier this week about his death, we all mentioned how much we loved his laugh! To the family of Charlie I want you to know that he was a member of the Wednesday Night Band family also. He sat right behind me and had a booming laugh. I'm certain that he was laughing at my playing. I often kidded him about his threadbare U of L sweatshirt and he gave me some kind of grief about the Wildcats. I will miss that greatly.
