A great guy he helped a lot of kids growing up and kept in touch with us after growing up.Life is short but Gene filled a tall order when it came to helping kids at the portland boys club thanks Gene,you will be missed.
What a man! Simply pausing to reflect on the impact he had on me, through his friendship with my father, is enough to inspire me to lighten up and keep the main thing, the main thing. He always made me smile. What an unselfish person. We are his legacy, all that knew and loved Gene, because he loved us, unconditionally. His passing is the nudge I needed to step up. My condolences to his wife and children, and especially the grandchildren, what a loss.
