Bishop Emeritus John D'Arcy

To Sr. Ann, Joan, and all the D'Arcy Family: you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of the loss of your most loved brother, uncle, and friend. I share in your loss of my special friend and mentor. I cherish the priviledge of having worked with Bishop for eight years and benefitting from his wisdom, example,courage, and love for the people of the diocese. When my mother passed away he invited my sister and I to his home where he said Mass for my mother. I have the rosary he gave me at that time, blessed by Pope John Paul II. He is resting in peace with the God he served so faithfully and selflessly.
