What a loss to the legal practice and, even more, to the people I have considered to be my friend. He was always a pleasure to talk with and had a sense of humor which was always warm in its delivery. I shall miss him.

Ivan was absolutely THE BEST! We have been friends with Ivan and Penny for almost 50 years. He was my first and best friend at the SEC and, regardless of the time between our visits, it was always as if we had seen Ivan and Penny three days ago. Ivan possessed such a wonderful sense of humor, which often masked his brilliance as an attorney. He was a joy to know and be with. He'll never be forgotten. Rest in peace, our dear friend.

Ivan was a colleague and great friend for over 30 years. He was one of the most remarkable fellows I ever knew,a fine lawyer, always smiling, with nothing but good things to say about everybody and everything. We managed to have lunch 3-4 weeks ago and he was still that way. Hard to imagine he is no longer with us, but he will always be remembered.

It was a joy to see Mr. Diamond, he was always had a smile and a respectful greeting for everyone. I will miss him. I feel privileged & honored to have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Diamond. His generosity, smile and kindness will always be with us. My thoughts and prayers to all of you during this time of great loss. Rest in peace Mr. Diamond and know everyone loved you.

The obit already said what I was thinking; that Ivan injected fun and humor into a business where many of the players take themselves way too seriously. He was a breath of fresh air and will be missed by those of us who enjoyed his wit and his inimitable style.
