When I think about Jackie i think about him taking me and my brothers fishing. He and Jamie actually gave me the birds and the bees talk on a boat lol. I will always remember him taking me to the Austin Peay bass tournament and us being out there all day and not catching a thing. Then late in the day he pulls in a nice bass and looks at me and says "Munchie, we got a shot!!" :) we pulled in that evening and saw everyone else with bags of fish and he says "alright lets go home." He did'nt say much, but when he did everyone listened. He was kind hearted and loved his family very much. He helped me become the man that I am and i will always remember him. Its times like this that I thank my father in heaven that i know of the truthfulness of the gospel and that we will see one another again!!

My father in law passed away sunday. He was a loved man and my regret is that I never told him I love him or even gave him a hug. I worked for Jackie for three years. We worked together almost everyday. When he passed on sunday I opened the doors to his business and I expected him there. Talking to his two crews I lost it and sobbed uncontrollably and they gave me a big hug and went to work. I appreciate them all as they stepped up to the plate this week. Jackie I wanted to tell you that you trained us well and I will continue to do as you wanted me to and I hope I make you proud. I know we had our differences at times, but I will always hold a special place in my heart for you as you were a great friend and father. You were never my second father: you were my father as you were just like my dad. You and my dad are equal to me and I hope to raise your grandchildren as you wanted to your expectations. I promise to always love your daughter as you would want your son in law to and always be there for peggy. I love you and will never forget you. Thank you for giving me a chance when no one else would. I love you dad!!

Even though your time on earth was too short, I will always cherish the time we got to spend together going fishing and getting to know each other. I know you're in a better place now, but you will be missed. Thanks for all the great memories and I'm very thankful to have had you as my father-in-law.

Your son-in-law,

Greg

I knew Jackie professionally over the years as he did numerous jobs for me and my family. Not only was he the most ethical, honest, and thorough tradesman, he was also the kindest and most pleasant person. He made an emergency run to my house on the day my daughter was born. All I had to do is leave him a key and he would take care of everything else. "Dont worry about anything. Go meet your daughter" he told me. I knew I didnt have to worry.
They don't make em like Jackie anymore. I will miss him more than I can explain.

Even though Jackie was the owner, He would pick up a tool and be right beside you trying to figure out the problem, he treated everyone like they were his friend, He was a Good Man, My heart goes out to his Family.
