Julia,
I am so sorry to hear of your lost. What little I knew Marvin I could tell that he was a special man. I enjoyded talking with him and hearing about all the band stories. But mostly what I could tell was how much he loved you,and that he got the prettiest girl ever. I will miss his stories and him. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Love.

Marvin was my band teacher in Owenton from 62 to 64. He was also a very good friend. We all loved him very much.

Marvin Ray touched many lives in Kentucky and the world. He blessed all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. I expect he's already singing and playing in the Heavenly Choir.

Hi Laura and family. Sorry to hear that my "old" music teacher passed away. He was my chorus teacher in Owen Co. (1951-1955). Thanks to him I am still singing today. A wonderful teacher and friend. My mother Lucille Crupper enjoyed many bus trips with him also. My sympathy to all the family.
