Mr. Barkley was my best friends dad in middle school and high school I grew up just down the street on Warner ave. he was always so kind to me and I remember him playing his banjo on the front porch! He and nancy were always so welcoming to me in their home when I came over to see Kathy!! I still remember he spaghetti he made and added pepperoni to the sauce , I still do that to this day.. Sorry for your loss Kathy I wish I could get in touch with u.. Here's my email if u get a chance to read this! Renniebeck@yahoo.com

I was sorry to hear ofRon's passing. I worked with him at the zoo and he had such a neat dry wit. I remember him on zoo trips. My sympathy goes to the family.

My thoughts are with my good friend Ken & his family. I know Ken always cherished the special times he spent with his Dad Ron. I'll never forget Ron's excitement talking about the time at Thousand Islands strip mine in Linton, IN, when Ken hooked into a 10+ pound large mouth bass. Thanks for the Denver Belle Ron, we'll miss you.
